A Manual on Managing Cooperation in Financial Sector Development

SDC is published this manual to provide a practice-oriented guide for development practitioners in financial sector development, which integrates the general methodology of Project Cycle Management (PCM) and the technical aspects of Financial Sector Development (FSD). By linking the essential elements of PCM with the requirements of FSD, it aims at a comprehensive approach to improve the quality of the design, monitoring and evaluation of FSD-projects. This should distinguish this manual from similar manuals which exist, but which either explain the methodology of PCM or the technicalities of FSD.

Its main audience is SDC programme management staff and partner representatives with whom projects are planned, monitored and evaluated.
