Results Measurement in PSD

Pressures to measure and report on the results of private sector development are growing rapidly and current PSD programmes are often not getting credit for what they are achieving. Recent efforts have now allowed developing some standards and useful tools in results measurement which you can find below.

SDC puts increasing emphasis on result measurement in its private sector development projects. In May 2009, the E&I network organised a Seminar on “Making Markets Work for the Poor: Results Measurement in Private Sector Development – Current Practice and Challenges ahead” in  Bern, Switzerland. The documentation of this event are very useful and they can be downloaded here.
